I was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana and earned an undergraduate degree from The University of Notre Dame. I earned my doctorate in medicine from Wright State University and completed my surgical training at Wright State University's Integrated Surgical Program. I am Board certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. I am currently a Clinical Associate Professor at Wright State University School of Medicine.
I live in Belbrook, Ohio with my wife and three sons.
